Legal Awareness & Rights Protection NGO
Empowering underprivileged women in Delhi through free legal awareness sessions, rights education, and access to justice in partnership with Supreme Court lawyers and legal experts.

Empowering Women Through Legal Knowledge
Breaking barriers to justice in Delhi's urban communities

In India, many women remain unaware of their legal rights and protections due to limited access to information and education. PlanCare Foundation addresses this critical gap by providing free legal awareness sessions to underprivileged women in Delhi's urban communities.
Our Legal Awareness Program equips women with essential knowledge about their constitutional rights, protection against domestic violence, workplace discrimination, property rights, and more, enabling them to defend themselves and achieve justice when facing legal challenges.
Through our strategic partnership with esteemed lawyers, including experts from the Supreme Court, we deliver comprehensive legal education that prepares women to navigate the legal system, report violations, and access justice mechanisms, creating pathways to safety and empowerment.
From Awareness to Action
Comprehensive legal education for sustainable protection

What began as informal discussions has evolved into a structured program reaching thousands of women across Delhi's underserved communities. This growth reflects the critical need for accessible legal information and the program's positive impact on participants' lives.
Our curriculum covers key legislation including the Protection of Women from Domestic Violence Act, Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace Act, Dowry Prohibition Act, and Maternity Benefit Act, alongside practical guidance on filing police complaints, accessing courts, and utilizing free legal aid.
Every participant receives resource materials in simple, accessible language that they can reference when needed, empowering them with the knowledge to protect themselves and their families while supporting other women in their communities.
Our Six-Module Educational Curriculum
Practical legal training designed for real-world application

Our comprehensive six-module curriculum provides practical legal knowledge. Module one introduces constitutional rights and fundamental freedoms. Module two covers domestic violence legislation, protection orders, and emergency resources. Module three focuses on workplace rights, sexual harassment prevention, and maternity benefits.
As sessions progress, module four addresses marriage, divorce, and custody laws. Module five covers property rights and inheritance for women. The final module focuses on accessing justice through police complaints, free legal aid, and court procedures.
This structured approach ensures each participant gains not only theoretical knowledge but also practical understanding of how to navigate legal systems. The program creates a supportive environment where women can discuss sensitive issues and find pathways to justice.
Supreme Court Lawyers Partnership: Expert Guidance for Women
Professional legal expertise and pro bono support for our participants

PlanCare Foundation's partnership with esteemed lawyers, including experts from the Supreme Court, brings world-class legal expertise to women who would otherwise lack access to such resources. This collaboration ensures our participants receive accurate, current legal information.
Beyond education, our legal partners provide pro bono consultation for women facing urgent legal challenges. This strategic alliance allows us to offer direct pathways to justice through professional legal support—a service invaluable to women in crisis situations.
By connecting participants with volunteer lawyers willing to take on cases without fees, PlanCare removes financial barriers to justice. This support becomes a powerful tool for women seeking protection from violence, workplace discrimination, or property disputes.
Creating Legal Empowerment in Delhi Communities
Supporting women's journey from awareness to advocacy

Our legal awareness program, launched in partnership with the Delhi State Legal Services Authority, represents a significant step toward justice access in Delhi's underserved communities. These sessions accommodate 50+ women at a time and are conducted in accessible community locations.
Each participant receives comprehensive support through their legal journey, from understanding rights to accessing remedies. Beyond legal education, we focus on building confidence, developing advocacy skills, and creating support networks that prepare women to stand up for themselves and others.
Upon completion, our participants become community resources, sharing knowledge with neighbors and family members. Many form local support groups, accompanying other women to police stations, helping them file complaints, and connecting them with legal resources.
