Empowered Women, Empowered Communities
Creating pathways for women's economic independence through skill development, entrepreneurship, and social empowerment initiatives.

Women Empowerment in India
Women in India face significant barriers to economic empowerment due to cultural norms, gender wage gaps, and patriarchal mindsets. This has led to a decline in women's labor force participation, dropping from 31.77% in 2005 to 20.79% in 2019. At Plan Care Foundation, Naari Shakti—or Women Empowerment—is the core of our mission. We empower Indian women through relevant education, skill development, self-employment opportunities, and social awareness, unlocking their potential to uplift themselves and their communities.
"Empowering women with skills and knowledge builds a stronger, more equitable society."
Plan Care, a leading NGO for women in Delhi, offers free sewing centers to promote financial independence, conducts awareness camps on women's health and hygiene, and provides free menstrual pads and school supplies to underprivileged girls. Through financial literacy workshops in rural areas like Bihar and Jharkhand, we educate women on government schemes, digital transactions, and economic opportunities. Our initiatives aim to create an equal society where women have access to education, healthcare, and economic stability, fostering a brighter future for all.
Our Initiative
Equipping women with skills and opportunities for a self-reliant future.

Skill Development
"Sewing Training Center: A Sustainable Livelihood Path Towards a Better Future."
We are tackling women's empowerment in India head-on by launching free Sewing Training Centers in multiple urban slums across the country. Skill development is a vital tool for financial independence, and our Sewing Centers offer this opportunity with excellence. By teaching vulnerable and deprived women a valuable skill, we empower them to become financially independent and self-reliant.
At these centers, women gain not only sewing skills but also knowledge on marketing their products and services, as well as guidance on starting their own businesses. Through this initiative, Plan Care is determined to lead these brave women on a journey to self-reliance and economic stability, creating sustainable livelihoods for a brighter future.

Female Hygiene
Help a girl stay in school. Donate a pad today.
Female hygiene is a critical yet often overlooked issue in India. At Plan Care, we recognized this gap and took action by organizing sanitary pad distribution for girls in government schools, alongside awareness camps to educate them about female hygiene and sanitation.
We believe this initiative empowers women and girls by providing access to sanitary products and health information that would otherwise be out of reach. Investing in girls' and women's health today yields a stronger future—more educated girls, healthier, happier women, and a nation enriched by their contributions to a better tomorrow.

Our Legal Awareness
Empowering Women with Knowledge of Their Rights

Legal Awareness Program
"Empowering Women with Knowledge of Their Rights"
In many parts of India, women face systemic barriers due to a lack of awareness about their legal rights. This knowledge gap often leaves them vulnerable to exploitation, discrimination, and injustice, preventing them from asserting their place in society or seeking redress for violations.
At Plan Care Foundation, our Legal Awareness Program equips women with the tools to understand and exercise their rights. Through workshops, camps, and community outreach, we educate women on laws related to marriage, property, workplace rights, and protection against violence. This initiative fosters confidence and autonomy, enabling women to advocate for themselves and build safer, more equitable communities.

Financial Literacy for Women
At Plan Care, we recognize the importance of financial literacy for women to break financial barriers and improve their overall well-being. To spread awareness, we organize camps and workshops in rural areas, including remote villages in Bihar and Jharkhand.
These camps focus on creating awareness about government-backed loans, scholarships, digital transactions, and financial innovations. By including these communities in India's Digital India campaign, Plan Care empowers rural women to maximize resources, ensuring prosperity for themselves and their families, contributing to equal growth for all.

Sustainable Clothing
Plan Care trains women to design boutique clothing from old fabrics, breathing new life into discarded materials. This initiative not only promotes sustainability but also creates income opportunities for women in need.
By participating in exhibitions and selling their unique creations, these women gain financial independence and confidence. This project showcases how skill development and creativity can empower women to build thriving livelihoods while contributing to a greener future.
